  • Deliver outstanding guest service overnight, taking ownership of guest requests, complaints and service recovery.
  • Oversee VIP arrivals, loyalty members, overnight guest requirements, relocations and special requests.
  • Manage the night audit process, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation, reporting and compliance with company procedures.
  • Maintain strict control of cashiering, banking, credit, payment card and key management procedures.
  • Take responsibility for overnight hotel safety, security and emergency response, including fire and security patrols.
  • Lead and develop the Night Team through coaching, training, performance management and regular feedback.
  • Coordinate overnight operations with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage and other departments.
  • Ensure accurate communication and handovers between night and day teams to support seamless hotel operations.
  • Monitor guest feedback, audit results, costs and operational performance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with rostering, payroll control, departmental supplies and budget management.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, grooming, compliance and guest confidentiality.

More about you...

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel Front Office operation, ideally in a luxury or five-star environment.
  • Previous night-management or night-audit experience, with strong knowledge of overnight hotel operations and financial reconciliation.
  • Calm, confident leadership and sound judgement when managing guest concerns, emergencies and operational incidents with limited on-site support.
  • Strong working knowledge of Opera or a comparable property-management system, payment controls and night-audit reporting.
  • Effective communication, coaching and problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate colleagues across multiple departments.
  • High standards of confidentiality, accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
