A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHEF AT OUR HOTEL 

What you'll be doing...

·        Be the friendly face that welcomes guests, making their first impression unforgettable.

  • Prepare and cook a range of breakfast and dinner dishes to menu specification
  • Prepare the breakfast buffet and replenish as required throughout breakfast service
  • Prepare for any conferences and events taking place within the hotel
  • Assist with preparing the kitchen for lunch and dinner service
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Follow all food safety and health and safety regulations

·        Help with washing dishes

·        Checking off deliveries and ensuring items are put away in the correct order

·        Go the extra mile for special requests, adding that extra touch to make guests’ stays memorable.

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

·        A welcoming personality who loves connecting with people and making their day brighter.

  • Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Excellent knowledge of breakfast and Dinner dishes and cooking techniques

·        Strong communication skills, comfortable chatting with guests and coordinating with team members.

·        Sharp attention to detail, especially when it comes to handling guest needs and reservations.

·        A problem-solver who can think on their feet, handling any situation with a positive attitude.

·        Team spirit, ready to jump in wherever needed to keep things flowing smoothly.

·        High energy and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
