A Night Manager will be responsible for:
Ensures the Front Office team offers a warm welcome, accurate information, and guest comfort and safety.
Oversees adherence to company procedures (check-in, check-out, cash and key handling).
Manages team communication and fosters a collaborative environment.
Supports the Assistant Front Office Manager with recruitment, performance management, talent development, and absence management.
Handles guest queries and complaints, involving senior management when necessary.
Manages bookings, room allocations, group reservations, and special requests.
Initiates and maintains effective communication within the department and with other departments.
Ensures compliance with safety and security procedures, financial tasks, and assists with revenue management.
To be successful in the role of Night Manager, we require:
Excellent guest engagement skills
Cash and Key handling experience
Knowledge of relevant legislation: health and safety, employment
Ability to act on own initiative and think ahead in to exceed expectations
Creativity and confidence to find solutions to everyday challenges
Experienced working in a four-star hotel as a supervisor
