Description
SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE
To provide professional front-office and administrative support by managing reception duties, assisting visitors and guests, coordinating communications and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guests
  • Assist with the booking and organisation of small events and functions as required.
  • Handling guests arrivals, check-ins/check outs.
  • Deal with guest enquiries, reservations and requests and follow-up with appropriate telephone and email correspondence.
  • Provide guests support during their stay so that they have their expectations exceeded.
  • Deal with any guests' complaints and queries in line with Torridon and Forbes standards and report actions appropriately to relevant managers.

Team
  • Ensure all appropriate departments are informed to meet and exceed the guests' requests
  • Support FOH team as necessary

Productivity
  • Assist with the coordination of Hart to ensure that it is always up to date and correct.
  • Deal with travel agents administration and payments and highlight VIP TA's to the Head of Department
  • Maintain a tidy and organised reception desk and back-office area.

Health & Safety
  • Report and concerns, near misses and support the see it, sort it, fix it and do not walk on by.

Sustainability & Environment
  • Understand and embed The Torridon's sustainability policy practices into your shift.
  • Be able to clearly communicate our Sustainability Policy and Earth Check journey to guests and suppliers.
