We are looking for a passionate and driven Reception Supervisor for maternity cover until July 2026 to become part of our wonderful team at Monarch House, delivering excellent standards and memorable experiences for our guests.   

Role Overview: 

The reception supervisor coordinates and supervises all administrative functions for the Front Desk. You ensure that reception policies and procedures are consistent with Monarch House objectives. You will ensure all guests receive friendly, welcoming and informative service and deal with any guest incidents or issues, resolving them to both the business and guest satisfaction.

What you'll do:

• Maintain an effective flow of communication from Front Desk to all departments and ensure all front office team are kept informed of items that concern them
• Assess guest complaints taking proper, prompt and effective corrective action to ensure the best possible outcome
• Manage team welfare including assistance with preparing rotas and payroll assistance when needed
• Assist in conducting team meetings on a weekly/monthly basis
• Liaise with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure punctual and efficient re-letting of apartments.

Who you are:

• Previous experience in Front of House / Reception in a hotel or serviced apartments setting
• Proactive approach with a self-driven attitude
• Fully conversant with fire and emergency procedures
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
