We’re on the lookout for a Host/Hostess who is committed to excellence and thrives in a team setting.

As a Host/Hostessyou will be at the heart of the guest journey, creating a warm, confident and personalised welcome from arrival to departure.

Working directly with the Maitre d’, who leads the Reception and Host team and oversees table allocation and guest flow, you will support the smooth running of Reception and ensure that information is communicated accurately between the guest and restaurant teams.

You will combine warmth with precision, efficiency with genuine care and confidence with discretion, always representing the Nobu brand and its values.

What You Will Do: 

  • Welcome and engage every guest with genuine warmth, confidence and authentic Nobu hospitality, creating a memorable first and last impression.
  • Manage guest arrivals, seating and restaurant flow in close communication with the Maitre d’, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Recognise and accommodate VIPs, regular guests, returning guests and special occasions, anticipating needs and delivering personalised service.
  • Handle reservations, enquiries, amendments and cancellations professionally, maintaining accurate booking information and communicating guest preferences, allergies and special requirements to the team.
  • Prepare and communicate clear Waiter Notes, ensuring all relevant guest information is accurately and discreetly shared with the service team.
  • Provide attentive cloakroom and takeaway support, maintaining a clean, organised Reception area and ensuring orders are correctly handed over.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider restaurant team, supporting colleagues during busy periods and maintaining a consistently welcoming, professional and positive guest experience.
