You’ll also work closely with our restaurant operations and Support Office teams, helping colleagues understand their numbers, identify opportunities and make informed commercial decisions.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified, newly qualified or finalist accountant who wants their work to be visible and make a genuine difference within a fast-moving, multi-site restaurant business.

- Own designated areas of the month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and cost allocations

- Lead variance commentary against budget and forecast for your areas
- Contribute to group reporting for our international parent company
- Build strong relationships with restaurant operations and Head Office teams
- Explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues

- Support wider finance projects and ad hoc analysis as business priorities change
You’ll be organised, commercially minded and confident working with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
You’ll take pride in producing accurate work, meeting deadlines and helping others understand what the numbers mean. You’ll also be comfortable challenging existing processes and suggesting practical ways to improve how the Finance Team works.
You’ll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, be newly qualified, or be a finalist close to completing
- Experience of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations within a multi-entity business
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102, or the willingness to develop your knowledge
- Experience working with fixed assets and leases
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using an ERP or finance system
- The ability to work reliably to month-end and reporting deadlines
- Confidence supporting and constructively challenging non-finance colleagues
