The Perch Inn, located on the Thames in the beautiful village of Binsey just a stone’s throw from Oxford city centre.

We freshly prepare and serve proper pub food with a British farmhouse focus, allowing seasonality and quality of ingredients to lead our menus.

Your focus as Junior Sous Chef will be assisting the Senior Kitchen management team in the running of the main Perch Inn restaurant kitchen, working closely with our Executive & Head Chef to ensure the delivery of a superb farmhouse style menu and to maintain the high standards currently in place.

Key Responsibilities

·         To run the main Perch kitchen in the absence of the Exec. and Head Chef.

·         Assist in maintaining a five-star food hygiene rating.

·         Recognise the importance wage percentage targets.

·         Input in new menu planning

·         Responsibility for stock & ordering

·         Leading & inspiring a team of junior chefs & kitchen assistants
