GENERAL MANAGER Great American Cookies & Marble Slab Creamery

The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, and leadership of the store. This individual serves as the leader of the management team and is responsible for developing people, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience.
1. Lead all daily operations of the store.
2. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members and managers.
3. Build a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and guest service.
4. Ensure all products meet Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery quality standards.
5. Manage labor, food cost, paper cost, and operating expenses.
6. Achieve sales, profitability, and EBITDA goals.
7. Monitor and execute baking projections and ice cream production projections.
8. Ensure completion of all operational checklists and systems.
9. Maintain compliance with health department and food safety standards.
10. Oversee inventory management and ordering.
11. Manage scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels.
12. Analyze financial reports and implement action plans for improvement.
13. Develop Assistant Managers and Shift Leaders for future advancement.
14. Execute local store marketing and community outreach initiatives.
15. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility.
16. Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· 3+ years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality management experience preferred
· Proven leadership and team development skills
· Strong financial and operational acumen
· ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred
· Reliable transportation
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
