SHIFT LEADER Great American Cookies & Marble Slab Creamery

At Great American Cookies & Marble Slab Creamery, our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting the management team and ensuring each shift delivers outstanding products, exceptional guest service, and a clean, organized environment.

Shift Leaders serve as role models for the team and help execute daily operations while developing future leaders.

1.        Lead assigned shifts and support daily operations.

2.        Coach team members to provide exceptional guest service.

3.        Ensure cookies, brownies, ice cream products, and cakes meet quality standards.

4.        Follow and execute baking and production procedures.

5.        Assist with cake and ice cream cake preparation.

6.        Perform cash handling responsibilities accurately.

7.        Complete opening and closing procedures.

8.        Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.

9.        Assist with inventory counts and product rotation.

10.  Enforce company policies and procedures.

11.  Communicate effectively with management regarding operational issues.

12.  Help train and develop new team members.

13.  Promote sales through suggestive selling and guest engagement.

14.  Maintain a sense of urgency while creating a positive work environment.
