Gaucho Glasgow are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate supervisor to join our restaurant's teams! The supervisor works closely with the senior managers to run a smooth and successful operation regarding finance, product and people. They focus on exceeding the guest's expectations and providing the best possible experience, always incorporating the Gaucho Cycle of Service requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Full commitment to expanding knowledge of food and beverage on the menu 

  • Attending, participating in, and contributing to the brief and team meetings 
  • Communicating any significant stock availability issues to the management and the team 
  • Responsible for the correct till procedures, use of till, and cash reconciliation. 
  • Assist the management team in the opening, operating and closing to required standards 
  • Assisting managers in control of the floor, representing an authority figure if the manager needs to leave the floor 
  • Ensuring perfect table maintenance and timings as per Cycle of Service  
  • Checking guest satisfaction and communicating any issues with the manager 
  • Have a proactive view towards promotions and sales and upselling and is involved in coaching and training staff in suggestive selling skills. 
  • Treat all guests with 100% hospitality, acknowledge all and open doors for guests. Offer guidance and direction to guests
