Overview of the role:
The role of the Business Development Executive is to maximise the sales for our Leeds restaurant, by developing strategic sales action plans, that are specifically designed to deliver the pre-booked sales targets of the restaurants, which in turn support the achievement of the total sales and profit targets of the restaurants. Ensures maximum ‘enquiry to booking’ conversion levels through effective management of systems and team and through their own reactive and proactive capabilities.
This role will report directly into the General Manager & the Head of Sales.

The Role:
· In partnership with the General Manager, develop and execute sales strategy.
· Build key relationships in your local area through a proactive approach including corporate event bookers, PA’s, and hotel concierge.
· Support Reception team
React to enquiries quickly and efficiently and have a high conversion rate
· Drive new revenue opportunities through partnerships and events, keeping up with market trends.
· Deliver an exceptional booking experience for teams and guests and be a support for the ops team to deliver incredible experiences.
· Communication with reservations team to ensure books are managed and maintained effectively.
· Work commercially, generating profit for the restaurant and business.
Experience requirements:
· Have a minimum of 1 year’s sales and events experience within hospitality at a managerial level.
· A team player with a can-do attitude who thrives on delivering to tight deadlines.
· Be skilled at writing proposals and confident in negotiating with all levels of clients.
