We are excited to be searching
for a Learning and Development Manager to join the People Team at Gaucho
Restaurants. The Learning and Development Manager role is an exciting and
multi-faceted one, where you will be a master of creating and delivering
multiple projects at all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities of the
Learning & Development Manager
- The
Learning and Development Manager is responsible for identifying and assessing
training needs, creating tailored training plans, and implementing various
training methods to enhance employees’ skills and performance.
- They
monitor training program effectiveness, manage budgets, and stay updated on
training trends
- You will be
tech savvy as you will be developing and rolling out a new company wide
learning platform, whilst also co-ordinating our industry renowned LAB and post
Lab training courses including coordinating our wider training team.
- The Learning and Development Manager will assess the needs of the
company through collaboration with Head of Departments, observation and
side-by-side working using industry knowledge and also creating and delivering
bespoke development packages for all departments.
- Support
the Head of Learning and Development to organise the annual training calendar
to ensure the efficient facilitation of the Gaucho L.A.B: The company’s induction
training programme for the new starters.
- Support
new restaurant openings and training facilitation with the L&D team. Assist with the Regional training when needed.
- Work
closely with Finance and Payroll Manager monthly to ensure all journals and
payroll are correct for all training activity.
- Recruit,
train, and supervise the training team, providing ongoing support and
development to ensure high performance.
The successful candidate:
- Has a minimum of 2 years experience
within training role, with previous exposure of facilitating training for
various different departments at a multi-site level.
- Strong systems experience of LMS
management and content creation.
- A proven track record of coaching and
role-modelling – integrity is key
- Training Qualification and/or CIPD

**This role is required 5 days a
week in Gaucho Head Office in Oxford Circus, London - with some travel to our
regional and London restaurants & you must have experience of Learning
& Development within hospitality**
