Join the Genuine Foods team as the Vice President of Culinary, to help ensure that students and families get the simple, healthy and tasty food they deserve! We are a growing start-up and this is a senior management position, with equity.

The Vice President of Culinary is a critical role in the company who works closely with the Culinary Director and Director of Culinary Operations. Your main responsibilities will be: setting the standard and ensuring superior food quality, implementing quality control across all accounts, projecting and controlling food/labor costs, execution of daily meal production and developing, testing and refining recipes. This includes doing and overseeing menu planning, overseeing procurement/receiving/packing out, and ensuring that all menu items that are produced are of high quality and compliant with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).

We produce 2500+ meals a day. Must have previous high-volume production or commissary kitchen experience, is organized, possess superior attention to detail, has excellent time and people management skills, and is very comfortable working with numbers.

Pay is competitive, commensurate with experience and we offer equity to senior managers. We offer health benefits, have a defined benefit retirement plan, profit-sharing and a bonus pool. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company.
