We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join the team of our fantastic private members’ club, George Club, part of The Birley Clubs.
George is a contemporary private members’ club in the heart of Mayfair. Set across two levels, with a ground floor dining room where the open kitchen creates classic brasserie dishes from organise and seasonal ingredients and a comfortable downstairs bar for relaxing and socialising.
As Kitchen Porter you will maintain a clean and tidy pot wash area and ensure that you comply with COSSH and food hygiene regulations. The Kitchen Porter will understand the importance of ensuring all equipment within the kitchen is cleaned and maintained to the standards required and cleaning schedules are adhered to at all times.
We are ideally looking for candidates who:
• Are excellent team players with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Have previous experience working within a fast paced kitchen as a Kitchen Porter
• Effectively communicate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth service
• Have high standards and take pride in their work
