About Us

· Goldex Sales & Lettings is a Gillingham based estate agency that harbours over a decade worth of sales and lettings experience. Within that time, we have accumulated an expansive and widespread property portfolio across Medway and Kent.

· This is a hands on role suitable for a motivated and hard-working candidate who enjoys interacting with people and is keen to progress a progressive career with an established and professional estate agency.

Job Responsibilities

· Strong understanding of the lettings process, namely; marketing properties; conducting viewings; carrying out reference checks and completing of AST’s.

· Strong grasp of other responsibilities including (inspections, check-ins, check-outs, keeping on top of various property trackers, payments, serving notices etc.)

· Understanding of the selling and buying process desired – liaising between sellers/developers + purchasers in order to ensure a smooth purchase or sales transaction.

· Assisting the in-house marketing team with promotional material for social platforms.

· Able to liaise with tenants and internal and external maintenance teams in a professional manner and with confidence.

· Providing general support to the Sales & Lettings office manager.

· Experience with Sales and Lettings information software systems such as Goodlord and 10 Ninety desired.

Details

· Minimum 25 hours a week, working every other Saturday 9am-3pm after the first month.

· Six month probationary period.

· Prior experience within a Sales and Lettings role is desirable (or a large appetite to learn and progress).

· Excellent communication skills (in person and on the phone).

· Computer proficient.

· The successful candidate will require a DBS check.

· Computer proficient.

· Must hold a clean, full UK driving license and confident to drive for external work.
