The Role: General Manager

As General Manager, you’ll take full ownership of Le Monde—running it as if it were your own business. You’ll lead with confidence, inspire your team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences across our hotel, bar, and restaurant operations.

This is a high-profile, high-impact role for a confident, experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment and knows how to balance operational excellence with creativity and flair.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading from the front—setting the tone for service, standards, and team culture.
  • Driving commercial performance with strong business acumen and a hands-on approach.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team across departments.
  • Managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximising profitability.
  • Creating unforgettable guest experiences that reflect the spirit of Le Monde.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, premium venue.
  • A natural leader with strong people management and coaching skills.
  • Commercially savvy with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Passionate about hospitality, food, drink, and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and always ready to roll up your sleeves.
  • A natural communicator who’s approachable and organised.
  • A flair for business and a sharp commercial mind.
  • A genuine love for people, service, and having fun.
