ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at Le Monde Hotel, George Street, our Central Production Unit is the culinary hub for our Edinburgh venues.

As a Central Kitchen Supervisor, you will support the Central Kitchen Manager in overseeing the production and distribution of high-quality food across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, safety, and efficiency at every stage. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the team and maintaining high standards across all operations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

            •          Support daily operations within the Central Production Unit.

            •          Ensure consistency and quality across all prepared products.

            •          Assist with stock control, par levels, and delivery schedules.

            •          Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.

            •          Support breakfast service and occasional functions at Le Monde Hotel.

            •          Supervise and support the team to deliver high standards.

            •          Assist with cost control and general kitchen performance.

            •          Build strong working relationships across Glendola’s Edinburgh venues.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

            •          Proven experience in a supervisory or senior chef role in a busy kitchen.

            •          Strong organisational and food safety knowledge.

            •          High standards of food quality and presentation.

            •          A collaborative and proactive approach.

            •          Ability to work under pressure.
