Job Summary:

The Car Wash Team Member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring positive customer experience. This position involves a variety of responsibilities ranging from customer interaction and vehicle care to equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness. Car Wash Team Members are expected to perform their duties in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: 

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

· Inspecting the facility and equipment at the start of each shift to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper operation.

· Greeting customers and explaining available car wash packages and services.

· Accurately processing customer transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system.

· Directing and positioning vehicles correctly into the car wash bay.

· Conducting pre-wash inspections to identify any existing vehicle issues.

· Washing vehicle exteriors and cleaning interiors using appropriate tools and cleaning agents.

· Performing vacuuming and detailing services to enhance the cleanliness and appearance of vehicle interiors.

· Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

· Monitoring car wash equipment and promptly reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns.

· Cleaning and securing the work area and equipment at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

· Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence.

· Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Familiarity with car wash equipment and basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.

· Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to inspect vehicles and identify potential issues.

· Proficiency in using POS systems.

· Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and remain on your feet for extended periods of time.

Education/Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
