Kickstart - Housekeeping Assistant

Position Summary

Under the direction of the General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of all housekeeping and laundry functions. The remit will include holiday cottages and the café. Cleans café inside, public conveniences, and holiday cottages. Undertakes the laundry and control of linen stock. Participates in and enforces quality assurance following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the cleaning of rooms, guest cottages and public areas. Follows health and safety standards relating to cleaning and sanitation. Any other housekeeping related duties as delegated by the General Manager. 

Hours: 25 hours per week – five hours per day across five days on a rota basis. Overtime will be available subject to business levels. 

Full Training will be provided.

Previous experience in similar job role preferred. A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude. 

Education: School leaver or equivalent qualifications. Entry level – Housekeeping experience preferred but willingness to learn with a good work ethic is more important.
