What You’ll Do

As Deputy Venue Manager, you’ll assist the Venue Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of one of our beautiful venues. Your responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Team Support: Be the main point of contact in the absence of the Venue Manager, leading by example and training staff to deliver exceptional service.
Couple Engagement: Support planning meetings, show rounds, and client communication, ensuring a seamless experience for couples from start to finish.
Wedding Sales: Act as a key support for the Sales Manager, taking a keen interest in wedding sales and helping to maximise booking opportunities.
Administrative Duties: Generate and amend invoices, produce accurate running orders, and ensure accommodation sales are maximized.
Event Support: Assist with Open Days, Dinner Date evenings, upselling opportunities, and ensuring smooth event execution.
Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Country House Weddings, promoting consistency across communication and assisting with social media and marketing tasks.
Health & Safety: Maintain a safe environment, including administering First Aid when needed and keeping up-to-date with documentation such as fire and accident reports.

Country House Weddings offers six hand-picked wedding venues across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Warwickshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire. Each one chosen for its picturesque location, charming exterior, and opulent interiors, whether that be a Georgian Mansion, Tudor Manor or fairy-tale Castle.

Country House Weddings specialises in weddings, providing exclusive use of the venues to couples from midday to midnight on the day of the wedding, while also offering all-inclusive wedding packages to ensure a couple's wedding runs smoothly from start to finish. This includes, although not limited to, multiple wedding ceremony options per venue, a three-course wedding breakfast created by expert chefs who specialise in wedding catering, fully stocked bars, and an evening reception with buffet, DJ and disco.
