What hours will you be working? 

Flexible working hours - up to 20 hours a week, mainly Fridays and Saturdays.

What you’ll be doing as a Front of House Team Member

As a part time Front of House team member, our customers are in your hands. You'll work on the bar and will be the face of the site, a friendly and welcoming pub in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Most of all you love to look after people, understand what makes them happy and have the desire to make someone’s day.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the happiness of our customers, and responsibilities will include;

  • Increasing sales through friendly service and conversation, recommending drinks and upselling.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of tables and seating areas meet our high standards for every customer you greet.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver excellent standards of customer service, ensuring each and every customer receives the best service possible.
  • Attention to detail to ensure you serve the customer with the correct order every time.
  • Undertaking continual training to develop your skills and knowledge.

Your Pub

This site is located in the heart of Manchester, on busy Portland Street. A popular pub, the Grey Horse is reputed to be the 2nd smallest pub in the city. It's a bit quirky and has a lot to offer with a unique and inviting atmosphere and serving a wide selection of lagers, cask ales, wines and spirits.
