Dakota Hotels are coming to Newcastle city centre in early 2025 and we are seeking a hospitality professional with a passion for great food and wine for the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager.
CONTRACT AND PAY RATE
The gross annual salary is £28,000, plus any Tronc earnings.
The role carries a permanent contract of a minimum of 40 hours per week and typical shifts will be working any 5 days out of 7, this role does include working weekends.
Interviews for this role will be taking place in January 2025, with an anticipated start date of 24th February 2025.

Ideally situated by the Gateshead Millennium Bridge on the quayside, our hotel will boast 118 bedrooms including stunning 33 suites. Dakota Newcastle will host our renowned Bar & Grill, Champagne Room, Cigar Terrace, and an events space for up to 60.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will have/be:
At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role or above in a similar calibre of full-service restaurant with experience in writing rotas, delivering training, and daily people management.
A minimum of four years experience working in restaurants.
Demonstrable experience in writing wine lists, the development of team members, and F&B revenue maximisation.
Comprehensive knowledge of wines and high-end service standards. Certification in WSET level 2 or above is beneficial.
A confident leader with a hands-on approach to leading a team.
Be an outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
