Summer Duty Manager

Bedruthan & Scarlet | £31,686.10 plus tips | 40 hours | 5-day week 

Lead the summer guest experience at two of Cornwall’s most iconic clifftop hotels. 

Bedruthan and Scarlet are looking for a confident, guest-obsessed Summer Duty Manager to keep service smooth, teams supported and every stay feeling special. 

This fixed-term role offers hands-on management, a 40-hour contract over five days, and a summer season in one of the UK’s most inspiring hospitality settings. 

What we’re looking for 

You’ll be positive, organised and ready to lead from the floor. 

You’ll bring calm confidence, clear communication and the instinct to spot what guests and teams need before they ask. 

Above all, you’ll care about great service, great teamwork and getting the details right. 

What you’ll do 

  • Run daily Duty Management across Bedruthan and Scarlet. 
  • Keep service flowing and standards high. 
  • Support Reception and Front of House with calm, visible leadership. 
  • Bring teams together to solve issues quickly and confidently. 
  • Turn guest feedback into better experiences. 
  • Be a proud ambassador for Red Hotels’ warm, thoughtful service. 

What you’ll bring 

  • Hospitality leadership or management experience. 
  • A strong guest-first mindset. 
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills. 
  • Confidence making decisions and supporting teams under pressure. 
  • Hotel, leisure, luxury hospitality, Front Office or Guest Services experience would be a bonus.
