The Store Hotel is a lifestyle luxury and boutique hotel set in the heart of Oxford. We sit in the building of the historic department store and Oxford institution, Boswells. Our 101-bedroom hotel will delight guests with a sense of curiosity and wonder, reflecting the rich heritage of the building’s former life.

We are looking for a friendly, professional and reliable Hotel Porter to join our team on a fixed term contract for 3 months. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a guest-focused environment where exceptional service and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
As a Hotel Porter, you will play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences, ensuring our visitors receive a warm welcome, anticipate guests needs and provide outstanding support throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greeting guests on arrival and assisting with luggage
• Supporting guest requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards across public areas
• Assisting departments across the hotel as required
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
• Supporting room moves and deliveries throughout the property
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
• Helping create a welcoming and positive environment for guests and colleagues

What we are looking for:

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to shifts, including evenings and weekends where required
• Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential – full training can be provided
• A proactive and hands-on approach to work
