kitchen team at Guillam.
As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring the
highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about
hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys contributing to menu development and culinary excellence.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the kitchen and collaborating closely with the head chef to ensure
seamless service.
• Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to consistently high standards.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation, portion control, and waste management.
• Assisting the Head Chef with recipe development, menu innovation, and the creation of new dishes.
• Upholding the organisation, discipline, and professionalism expected within a high-end kitchen environment.
• Ensuring the kitchen and all related equipment are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and
health and safety.
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock rotation and waste reduction.
• Contributing to delivering an exceptional guest experience through culinary excellence and professional service.
• Undertaking any additional duties reasonably requested by the Management Team to support the successful operation
of the business.
Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.

• Good knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and kitchen best practices.

• Full-time position: up to 48 hours per week.

• 20 to 30 minutes daily break.
