Sales & Events Manager for gorgeous Gastro Pub on the Thames

Sales & Events Manager

The Gun is one of London's best riverside gastropubs and is in need of a Sales and Events Manager to cover for maternity. A beautiful Grade 2 listed building with 3 private dining rooms; riverside terrace/conservatory and wonderful riverside garden, we cater for all types of functions. Corporate dining functions to office drinks parties, we can host pretty much any sort of celebration. Serving wonderful food and matching it with elegant and personalised service! You will be responsible for the delivery of a pre-booked sales strategy and targets alongside ensuring the smooth organisation and running of events to exceed customers expectations. Along with managing the social media aspect of the business alongside the General Manager. 

You will be responsible for:

• Delivery of pre-booked sales targets
• Providing excellent customer service both in person and via email/phone
• Maximizing pre-booked revenue via outbound activity
• Managing Collins booking system
• Managing all Social media platforms
• Liaising with venue and central teams to ensure consistency in delivering events
• Gain understanding of local market (potential clients and competitors)
• Creating and supporting delivery of bespoke events across the year
