Since 1946, Gus’s BBQ has been celebrating the culinary traditions of the South; we are dedicated to serving up fresh takes on long-established fare while bringing the roots of true Southern Hospitality to the West Coast. Our team is inspired by making a connection not only with our guests, but with our team members and the community around us as well. Qualifications and Skills:

  • The ability to enthusiastically lead, manage, and train an energetic staff of 40 or more team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure, creating a positive working environment
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, craft cocktail culture, and current industry trends
  • Flexible schedule - Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • An infectious, positive attitude
  • Outstanding hospitality skills
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • 2-4 years experience in a comparable role and a passion for success

  • MICROS, Toast, Aloha, other
  • Open Table
  • CTUIT Radar
  • Gather + Tripleseat
  • Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
