Gymbox is on the lookout for an enthusiastic CAD Designer to join our Development Team, where bold ideas, fast-paced execution, and standout design drive everything we build. This is a hybrid position, involving a mixture of office, home, and site-based work, typically 3 to 4 days spent across the office and site visits. This role offers the chance to contribute directly to the look and feel of some of London’s most iconic fitness spaces.

As a CAD Designer, you will play a central part in shaping the future of our clubs by producing 2D concept designs, floor plans, and detailed drawings for both new Gymbox builds and upgrades across our existing portfolio. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to turn creative concepts into clear, accurate plans, and you will regularly be on site to understand each project first-hand.

Your tasks

• Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D drawings where applicable for new club builds and refurbishment projects.
• Support the pre-construction phase by translating concepts into accurate, high-quality plans.
• Carry out multiple weekly site visits across London with project managers and agents.
• Work closely with suppliers, architects, construction teams, and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and provide design support.
• Review, update, and refine CAD outputs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all drawings meet project guidelines, accuracy requirements, and industry standards.
• Communicate progress, design considerations, and challenges clearly to the wider team.
• Stay current with CAD software practices, tools, and techniques.

You

• Hold an AutoCAD qualification, 2D minimum, with 3D as a nice to have.
• Are a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Are willing and able to travel regularly across London for on-site reviews.
• Are keen to learn and grow within a collaborative team.
• Are detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate, high-quality output.
• Are organised, adaptable, and confident working across several tasks.
• Are interested in the fitness industry and excited to shape the next generation of Gymbox clubs.
