Roastery Assistant

Hey everyone! We’re hiring for a Roastery Assistant at HB-HQ!

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for meeting the needs of our stores and wholesale customers while upholding the company's core values. Day-to-day responsibilities include order fulfillment, packaging coffee, prepping deliveries, cold brew production and coffee roasting.

Tasks include:

• Picking and staging orders for stores and wholesale customers efficiently and accurately
• Packaging coffee into 12oz retail bags, ½ lb bags and 5 lb bags
• Brewing and packaging cold brew coffee
• Production roasting
• Knowing how to fully operate all machinery in the warehouse: forklift, weigh and fill, scales, bulk grinder, heat sealers, etc.
• Ensuring that the warehouse is cleaned and organized at the end of every shift
• Understanding organic processor and handler standards and compliance
• Assisting with deliveries as needed
• Assisting with ecommerce orders as needed

Requirements:

• Organized and detail oriented with a commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Drivers license and a clean driving record
• A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Weekday availability
