As a key member of the HR team, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leadership in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflect Hogsalt values.

Experience & Qualifications:
5 years in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner role.
5 years of technical experience with HRIS platforms.
Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish.
Preferred: 2 years Hospitality-specific HR experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Regularly check in with leaders and employees at assigned stores providing HR guidance and support.
Initiate and respond to employee relations issues at assigned stores; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations; coordinate with the HR Director for resolution.
Complete day-to-day performance management actions (e.g., assist with in-person coaching and disciplinary actions, terminations, leadership reviews, hourly review completion, promotions, store and file performance management documents, etc).
Complete day-to-day leadership onboarding and deboarding actions (e.g., enter into HRIS, initiate onboarding/deboarding, send welcome emails, create/remove access levels, distribute/end email information, grade HR LIT (Leadership In Training) quizzes, check in on LIT progress, process LIT changes, asset distribution).
Champion the entire employee life cycle for leadership, supporting the growth and development of all employees of Hogsalt.
Oversee mandatory compliance needs of each assigned location (certifications, posters, training sessions, EEO reporting, etc.).
Work closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Manage HR email inbox, ensuring all task requests are carried through to completion and in a timely manner.
Identify training needs for store leadership and develop at least 2 training sessions per quarter.
Strategize and develop recognition initiatives that promote a positive culture and strengthen retention efforts.
Complete analytic measurements of store performance in areas of retention and performance management.
Drive culture and inclusion through collaborative efforts across the organization.
Performs other related duties, initiatives, and projects as assigned.
HR-specialization roles and assignments for the entire organization will be discussed with you and may periodically be updated or changed.
