Hogsalt is looking for a full time Corporate Controller to join our team!
As the Corporate Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making.

Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience
Management experience preferred
Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools l
Payroll experience required for multi-location accounting
Strong understanding of audits, taxes, and allocations
Familiarity with inter-company transactions; real estate and construction is preferred
CPA preferred
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, direct and coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of the company's financial statements
Work closely with the CFO and Finance Director to support financial and management reporting, cash flow analysis, and fixed asset management
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
Prepare GAAP consolidated financial statements including for various levels of holding companies
Assist in the development and tracking of corporate and operating budgets
Monitor and ensure compliance with GAAP standards and/or regulatory rules, including implementation of any changes
Assist with the development and refinement of financial and operational reports
Analyze internal controls, identify compliance gaps, and recommend improvements
Manage internal and external audits focused on accounting and administrative controls
Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
Review and coordinate AR billing
Support the implementation of new financial improvement initiatives
Partner with outside accounting firm for tax planning and preparation
Provide oversight of state and local licensing fillings
Foster a culture of collaboration, accuracy, and efficiency within the finance department
Completes Ad Hoc reporting as requested by Executive members and other Ad Hoc projects as assigned
