Hogsalt is looking for a dedicated and experienced Full Time Multi-Unit Service Leader (Salary Negotiable + Bonus Structure) to join our team!

Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. 

  • At least 1 year of experience in a management position.

  • Ability to identify problems and be solution-oriented in regarding service and restaurant operations.

  • Must have open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedule subject to modification and/or approval by the Service Director or Vice President of Service & Operations. 

  • Must be able to frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Expected to work services 5 days per week unless otherwise directed. These shifts (a mix of opening, mid, or closing shifts) could range in: 
    •  vacation coverage;
    •  to supporting stores with any leadership gaps;
    •  to post-restaurant opening support;
    •  to general store support. 
  • Be fully trained in all Hogsalt restaurants, including the Small Cheval division.
  • Progress and refine all areas of service in the restaurant.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, including recruiting, hiring and training, 6-month employee reviews, progressive discipline, and any other employee documentation.
  • Communicate professionally and confidently with guests, employees, and leadership. 
  • Complete general administrative tasks including opening and closing duties, cash handling, processing refunds, and maintaining restaurant facilities and supplies.
  • Assist with all training for front-of-house staff, including updating training materials.
  • Provide consistent coaching and support for all hourly employees, and possess the ability to fill into any FOH hourly position; Communicate issues to any pertinent situations when rotating through stores.
  • Assist with store onboarding/de-boarding process as well as training, coaching, or disciplining.
  • Assist with any administrative duties when needed (beverage programs, reports, scheduling, financials, menu edits, etc.)
  • Maintain flexibility with any service-related restaurant assistance, scheduling, travel and on-call availability for an ever-changing schedule that can be modified without notice.
  • Maintain relationships with regular guests and assist with their needs.
  • Possess the ability to fill into any FOH hourly or management position.
  • Support catering and private events for all locations as needed.
  • The schedule will be determined weekly by the Service Director team.
  •  Communicate any issues or concerns to the Midwest Service Director team.
  •  Embody and represent the Hogsalt Service and Food Philosophy.
  •  Lead by example and professionalism at all times and in all areas of Hogsalt and its affiliates.
  •  Maintain a positive and harmonious work environment.
  • Mentor, coach and guide all staff on Hogsalt brand of service and hospitality.
