Bavette's , a part of Hogsalt, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Full Time Maitre D' to join our team!

Experience & Qualifications:
At least five years of experience working in a fast-paced, full service restaurant.
Three years of experience as a Maitre D', Lead Host, or other guest service-oriented role.
Strong knowledge of reservation platforms, Resy preferred.
Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs, and stooping.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work directly with the Guest Services Director & General Manager to ensure proper bookings, turn times, and seating times.
Maximize bookings every service through patio reservations, walk-in guests, bar dining, networking, and concierge relationships.
Generate new ideas for service, hospitality, and accommodation to create the ultimate first and last impression for our guests.
Monitor guest reviews regarding the host stand and team and course correct as needed. Host reviews must remain at a 4.9 or higher.
Work with management to proactively extend guest recovery before a guest leaves (e.g., long wait for a table, disliked the table, table given away, etc.).
Foster and develop new and existing guest relationships to promote repeat business.
Oversee all aspects of host training, including keeping all training materials up to date.
Take ownership of the host attire guidelines. Address and immediately correct any unmet attire guidelines.
Utilize excellent communication and guest service skills, including the ability to handle challenging situations with grace, positivity, professionalism and patience.
Engage in and control the flow of the dining room, constantly communicating with leadership.
Act as a liaison to restaurant leadership, implementing procedures and aligning with company standards at all times.
