Haidilao Hotpot was founded in 1994 in the Sichuan Province of China and is now an international restaurant chain with over 500 locations and growing. Hotpot is a huge part of Asian culture, and each geographic location has its own special twist on how hotpot should be done. Haidilao's take on hotpot stems from authentic Szechuan hotpot traditions, with different options to cater to anyone. Our founder Zhang Yong started off with just one small mala tang shop and grew his business by focusing on two main aspects; customer service and employee care.
