At Firmdale Hotels, we pride ourselves on delivering unparalleled guest experiences, and our Commis Waiters play a crucial role in achieving this goal. As an entry-level position perfect for those with aspirations in Food and Beverage, you'll be at the heart of our dynamic team, attending to guest requests with efficiency and warmth.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing exceptional service to guests by attending to their requests promptly and courteously.
- Familiarise yourself with the menus and order of service to accurately answer guest queries and make recommendations.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service delivery and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate food and beverage orders.
- Set and clear tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and tidy dining area for guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and colleagues.
- Continuously strive to improve your knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities provided by the company.
- Maintain a positive attitude and uphold the company's values and standards at all times.
