We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Duty Manager to join our team at Ham Yard Hotel. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with department managers to oversee the daily operations of the hotel. Your responsibilities will span across Events, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and the Kitchen, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach to managing diverse scenarios.

• Liaise between General Manager, guests, and the operational team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Monitor and uphold service standards to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure hotel security across all departments, safeguarding both guests and staff.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with guests, enhancing their stay.
• Manage and attend to incidents or accidents involving guests or staff members.
• Provide operational support to all departments as needed, ensuring smooth hotel operations.
• Meet and greet VIP guests, serving as their primary point of contact throughout their stay.

• Proven experience as a Head of Department or Duty Manager within a 5-star hotel.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with guests and staff.
• Superb attention to detail, driven by delivering exceptional standards.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire and guide your team.
• Resilience and determination to get things right the first time.
• Knowledge of Micros and Opera systems is desirable.
