About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Supported Living service at Harley House. You will lead a team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex health and behavioural needs.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll support your team while also being actively involved in day-to-day care.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support

  • Lead and support a team of Support Workers on shift
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and performance feedback
  • Ensure staff follow care plans, policies, and procedures
  • Promote a positive, open, and supportive team culture

Care & Support Delivery

  • Deliver and oversee person-centred care
  • Support individuals with complex needs, including non-verbal communication
  • Promote independence, choice, and inclusion
  • Build strong relationships with individuals and their families

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting (incidents, safeguarding, medication)
  • Monitor staff training and competency
  • Carry out audits, spot checks, and quality reviews
  • Support compliance with CQC standards and best practices

Service Development

  • Help develop and review support plans and goals
  • Work closely with health professionals and external partners
  • Support continuous improvement within the service

About You
  • Experience in a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care
  • Confident managing challenging situations and behaviours
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting independence

Important Information
  • A full UK manual driving licence is essential (mobility vehicle use)
  • You will be required to take part in an on-call rota
