From day-to-day upkeep of the building and grounds to ensuring top-notch health and safety standards, your role will be vital in maintaining our luxury property.     Hours: 40 hours per week

    Pay: £13.20 per hour

    Contract: Full-time

    Shift: Days

If you have experience in maintenance or a similar job role and have a proactive approach to work then this could be the role for you!

    What will you be doing:

    • Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and decorating throughout the home.
    • Complete regular checks in line with Oakland Care's Health and Safety, Emergency and Fire policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and maintain equipment, fixtures and fittings.
    • Make sure gardens, grounds and outdoor areas are safe and well-preserved.
    • Assist with planned maintenance programmes and contractor visits.
    • Perform basic plumbing, painting, carpentry and general maintenance tasks.
    • Support with keeping accurate maintenance and safety records.

    What you need to succeed:Previous experience in a similar maintenance, caretaking or facilities role.

    • Possess good practical skills across a range of maintenance duties.
    • Understand Health and Safety requirements within a workplace setting.
    • Is proactive, organised and able to work independently as well as being a team player.
    • Excellent communication skills and enjoys working with older people.
    • Takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
