CATERING GENERAL ASSISTANT

This is a varied role where you'll support different areas of the operation, from serving customers and preparing food to assisting with hospitality events and ensuring every space is presented to the highest standard. THE ROLE

Deliver outstanding customer service with a warm and professional approach

Support food service across cafés, restaurants and hospitality events

Prepare food and beverages following company standards

Assist colleagues across different areas of the operation whenever required

Set up, replenish and maintain food and drink displays

Keep dining areas, counters and back-of-house areas clean and organised

Handle payments and operate tills where required

Follow all food safety, health and hygiene procedures

Help create a welcoming experience for students, staff and visitors

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

A positive attitude and a genuine passion for customer service

A team player who enjoys helping others

Excellent communication skills

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the business

Previous catering, café, hospitality or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
