FOOD & BEVERAGE DUTY MANAGER
Regent’s University London | £36,000–£38,000 | 5 days out of 7

Houston & Hawkes is looking for a confident, energetic Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team at Regent’s University London. From busy cafés and contemporary dining to premium hospitality and university events, this is a varied role for someone who loves leading people and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
You’ll help shape a welcoming, high-performing operation, supporting our teams and ensuring consistently excellent service across multiple food and beverage outlets.
THE ROLE
- Lead daily food and beverage service across cafés, restaurants and hospitality areas.
- Inspire, coach and support front-of-house colleagues, creating a positive team culture.
- Oversee the delivery of university events, conferences and hospitality functions.
- Work closely with the management and culinary teams to keep service running smoothly.
- Take ownership of rotas, stock, costs and operational standards.
- Build strong relationships with guests, university teams and event organisers.
- Take confident decisions and lead the operation when senior managers are away.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or similar food and beverage leadership role.
- A background in quality-led hospitality, restaurants, hotels or contract catering.
- A hands-on leader with excellent people skills and a passion for great service.
- Organised, commercially aware and comfortable balancing different service areas.
- Confident supporting events, solving problems and maintaining high standards.
WHAT WE OFFER

- Five days out of seven, including every third Saturday
