CATERING ASSISTANT

37.5 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday | £14.80 per hour | London

At Houston & Hawkes, we're looking for a Catering Assistant who enjoys variety, works well as part of a team and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for every customer. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to support every part of the catering operation.

THE ROLE

• Serve breakfast and lunch with confidence and enthusiasm
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Keep food counters replenished, fresh and beautifully presented
• Support the chefs with light food preparation
• Prepare meeting room refreshments and hospitality when required
• Keep dining areas, service points and back of house areas clean and organised
• Assist with washing up and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
• Help with setting up before service and clearing down afterwards
• Work closely with the wider catering team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Previous experience within hospitality or catering is desirable
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the operation
• Pride in delivering consistently high standards
