Business Development Manager (UK)

Hawksmoor is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (UK) to join our Sales & Events team. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll drive revenue growth and secure new business across corporate, consumer, and agency channels. The role focuses on maximizing sales for à la carte dining, group bookings, and private events.

Work Somewhere Awesome

Shortly after being named the best steak restaurant in the world, we became a certified B Corp in 2022 and have been ranked among the UK’s Top 100 Best Companies to Work For for 13 consecutive years. We’re committed to sustainability, raising over £1 million for Action Against Hunger, and supporting local communities in the UK, Ireland, and the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Business Development: Support the development and implementation of sales strategies for private dining, events, and dining. Secure new business partnerships and maximise covers, especially during off-peak times.
  • Partnerships & Networking: Build relationships with hotels, local businesses, PAs, event agencies, and corporate clients. Drive new business opportunities through networking and strategic partnerships.
  • Local Engagement: Keep Hawksmoor top-of-mind locally through outreach and collaborative initiatives.
  • Event Coordination: Work closely with the Sales & Events team to drive bookings and ensure smooth event execution.
  • Industry Representation: Stay ahead of market trends and represent the Hawksmoor brand at industry events.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven sales and business development experience, ideally within hospitality.
  • Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of SaaS platforms like TripleSeat, OpenTable, and CRM systems.

Benefits:

  • Health & Wellbeing perks, including discounted health and fitness benefits.
  • Additional paid maternity and paternity leave to support your growing family.
  • Income protection insurance for critical illness and death benefit.
  • Free meals at work and 50% off food in our restaurants for you and your loved ones.
  • Exclusive savings on travel, shopping, restaurants, and more.
  • Investment in your development – from industry-leading training to qualifications in Wine, H&S, Food Safety, HR, and a five-stage management programme in partnership with Watershed Management School.
  • Access to remote GP, physio, counselling services, legal advice, and more.
  • An optional paid volunteer day each year to support a cause you care about.

We strive to be a company that is inclusive in terms of age, gender, identity, race, sexual orientation, and ethnicity, creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can thrive.
