Wine Manager
We’re looking for a Wine Manager to join our team in London and be an onsite expert for all things wine.
Each of our restaurants features an award-winning wine list, with over 70 wines by the glass and more than 240 bottles – carefully curated and regularly refreshed. With unparalleled opportunities to taste the world’s greatest wines, attend tastings and trips, and ongoing support from a wider wine team across the business, this is an exciting hands on role working within the restaurant.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Education & Training: Inspiring and developing the whole team (both back and front of house) in their knowledge of, and confidence with, wine.
Procurement: Curating and sourcing new wines for the list.
Service: Leading by example with an active presence on the floor.
Finance & Operations: Ensuring the list runs smoothly, both financially and operationally.
Work somewhere awesome
Shortly after being named the best steak restaurant in the world, we became a certified B Corp in 2022 and have been ranked as one of the Top 100 Best Companies to Work For – the only restaurant group to do so for twelve consecutive years.
We’re proud to be one of the most sustainable restaurant groups in the UK, having raised over £1 million for Action Against Hunger, alongside supporting local charities closer to home.
As part of both the wine and management teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping our wine culture, supporting our values, and championing the causes we care about.
Benefits include:
Refer-a-friend bonus from day one
Tronc paid for every hour worked, including breaks and holidays
Wagestream access – get your wages when you need them
Discounted health and fitness benefits
Additional paid maternity and paternity leave
Income protection and death-in-service cover
Free meals on shift
50% off food for you and your loved ones
20 hours paid volunteering time each year (optional)
Discounts on travel, shopping, and more
28 days’ holiday (including service charge)
Restaurant welfare budget for snacks and support in peak times
Huge investment in training – including WSET qualifications, food safety, HR, and a five-stage management development programme in partnership with Watershed
Access to counselling, remote GP and physio services, legal advice, and more
We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone – regardless of age, background, gender identity, race, or orientation – can thrive and be happy at work.
