Fixed Term Recruitment Manager

Since 2006, Hawksmoor has been the UK’s home of ethically sourced, grass-fed beef, cooked over charcoal and paired with award-winning wines and cocktails. We’re proud to be a certified B Corp, one of the most sustainable restaurant groups in the industry, and to have been recognised as one of the Best Companies to work for year after year.

We’re looking for an experienced FTC Recruitment Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team on a part-time basis for a period of 6 months. This role will support a busy recruitment period while also helping us improve how we work through better systems, processes, data, AI and recruitment technology.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on recruitment delivery and project work. You’ll support live vacancies across restaurant management, senior operational and specialist roles, while also helping us make recruitment smarter, faster and more consistent.

We’re thinking around two to three days a week in total, but this could be spread across shorter days, mornings, evenings, school hours or a pattern that changes week to week. For the right person, we’re very open to shaping the role around what works.

What You’ll Do

  • Support recruitment across restaurant management, senior operational and specialist roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand vacancies, agree timelines and keep processes moving
  • Screen, shortlist and engage candidates, providing clear recommendations to hiring managers
  • Support proactive sourcing, talent mapping and candidate pipeline management
  • Review recruitment processes, templates, guides and hiring manager tools
  • Help improve our ATS, recruitment data, reporting and pipeline visibility
  • Explore where AI, automation and recruitment technology could improve sourcing, screening, communication and reporting
  • Support the creation of clear, practical recruitment procedures that are easy for hiring managers to follow

Who You Are

  • Experienced in recruitment, ideally within hospitality, retail, leisure or another fast-paced multi-site environment
  • Confident partnering with hiring managers and managing multiple vacancies
  • Comfortable with sourcing, screening, shortlisting and candidate management
  • Curious about systems, technology, AI and how recruitment processes can be improved
  • Organised, proactive and able to turn ideas into simple, useful tools and processes
  • Warm, professional and committed to creating a fair, consistent candidate experience

Our Values

Welcome Everyone We create warm, inclusive spaces where people feel genuinely welcome.
Work Hard and Be Nice to People We set high standards and treat each other with kindness and respect.
Hit Hawksmoor Standards We care deeply about quality and consistency every day.
Keep Evolving We stay curious, open to feedback and always looking to improve.

Benefits

  • Hybrid working
  • 50% off food at Hawksmoor for you and your loved ones
  • Free team meals when working in our restaurants
  • Wagestream early wage access and financial wellbeing tools
  • Referral bonuses from day one
  • Exclusive savings on travel, shopping and experiences
  • Full training and development with clear progression opportunities
  • The chance to work on meaningful recruitment projects across systems, process, data and AI

We’re building a team that reflects the richness and diversity of the communities we serve. At Hawksmoor, we welcome everyone and believe in creating a workplace where individuality is celebrated, kindness is key and high standards are met together. If this role excites you but you don’t meet every requirement, please apply anyway. You might be exactly who we’re looking for.
