Description
About Hawksmoor & the Opportunity

Hawksmoor began 20 years ago when two childhood friends set out to open a restaurant in London serving the best steak they could find, alongside great cocktails and genuinely warm hospitality. Since then, we have grown into one of the most respected restaurant groups in the UK and Ireland. Despite that growth, we remain a founder-led business, with a strong sense of who we are and how we do things. We were recently named the 2nd Best Steakhouse Group in the World for the second year running and are proud to be known not just for our food, but for the way we make people feel when they visit us.

In the US, we currently have restaurants in New York and Chicago, with Boston opening in September 2026. Each market is at a different stage of its development, from a well-established restaurant in New York, to a growing presence in Chicago, through to the launch of Boston. As Senior Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the VP Marketing US and work closely with restaurant teams across all locations, as well as the global marketing team in London. You will have the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced team while shaping how Hawksmoor grows in the US.

This is a versatile, hands-on role combining brand building with commercial delivery, with a strong focus on growing awareness and customer demand for both our a la carte offering and private dining and events.

What you’ll be responsible for

Brand, Awareness & Campaigns

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, PR, partnerships and local activity
  • Ensure campaigns align with brand strategy and commercial goals, delivering measurable results
  • Adapt global campaigns for the US market while maintaining consistency
  • Oversee creation of marketing content across social, email and paid media
Private Dining & Events (Core Focus)

  • Drive awareness and demand for private dining and events across all US restaurants
  • Work closely with sales teams to support pipeline development and conversion
  • Build targeted corporate and events marketing programmes
  • Ensure marketing plays a central role in growing this key revenue stream
Performance Marketing & Digital

  • Lead paid and organic marketing activity across channels including paid social, search and display
  • Own performance across key metrics including traffic, bookings and revenue
  • Work with agencies to plan, execute and optimise campaigns
  • Continuously test, learn and refine activity based on data
CRM & Customer Journey

  • Own the end-to-end customer journey from acquisition through to repeat visits
  • Develop CRM and email strategies to grow and engage the database
  • Use insight and data to improve effectiveness and guest experience
PR, Partnerships & Local Marketing

  • Support PR activity to build awareness and credibility in key markets
  • Identify and develop partnerships to reach new audiences
  • Work closely with restaurant teams to deliver locally relevant marketing activity
  • Tailor activity based on each restaurant’s stage of development
Planning, Process & Delivery

  • Own end-to-end campaign delivery from brief through to execution and evaluation
  • Bring structure to planning, timelines and reporting
  • Monitor performance and use insights to improve future activity
  • Manage budgets effectively and ensure strong return on investment
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, creative and global teams to ensure alignment
What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing, ideally in hospitality or premium brands. Restaurant experience a plus.
  • Strong experience across both brand and performance marketing
  • Experience delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns end-to-end
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and results-driven mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Most importantly, someone who cares deeply about creating love for Hawksmoor, takes pride in doing things properly – and embodies our core Hawksmoor value of working hard and being nice to people!
