As a Demi Chef de Partie at the Haymarket Hotel, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations. You will work closely with our experienced culinary team to deliver high-quality dishes, ensuring each plate meets our exacting standards. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation and execution of breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation, and supporting the kitchen brigade in all aspects of service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of a diverse range of dishes.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Supervise and support a small team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Monitor stock levels and manage ordering for your section.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen area.
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

What you Need:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• A genuine passion for food and culinary innovation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
