Barback/Service Bartender - New Restaurant Opening

Haywire is looking for some amazing bar back/service bartenders to assist the bar team in opening our newest Haywire location in Uptown. We believe in always being ready, cause Company's Comin' in a restaurant where you can put up your boots and kick up your heels, just depends on your mood!
Our barbacks/service bartenders:
- Possess basic whiskey, wine and beer knowledge
- Assist in ensuring top notch ingredients are at hand for drink orders
- Support bartenders in completing drink orders in a timely fashion
- Engage with guests from the Ranch Hand to the Business Man, and everyone in between
- Inspire their teammates to ask them for help
- Understand the balance of showmanship and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Some bar related experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
