Ring the dinner bell! Haywire is looking for our next great Line Cook! Company's Comin' and that means we need a Line Cook who treats our Guests like family joining us for Sunday dinner. Everybody’s taken care of here and welcomed with open arms. This is food for all Texans and folks who got here as fast as they could. Our team is large on charm, making each guest feel like a visit here is a special occasion. Conversation is easy, drinks are cold, bellies are full. This is true Texas hospitality.

Our line cooks:

  • Possess a Texas-sized hustle paired with genuine hospitality
  • Pride themselves on attention to detail to make sure every menu item has been prepared correctly and every detail is perfect
  • Know the cooking techniques and menu builds like the back of their hands
  • Understand the importance of a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen environment and take the safety of the food, guests and team seriously
  • Inspire their teammates to ask them for help
  • Understand the balance of Texas hospitality and efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Minimum one (1-2) years line cook experience preferred, steak house experience a plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read and understand tickets and recipes
  • Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
  • Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow state, city and company regulations
