We have launched three brand new entertainment venues in the very centre of London; breathing live music back into
Soho and ushering in a new era for Denmark Street - the iconic birthplace of British counterculture.
Four levels below ground, and right next to Tottenham Court Road tube station, we have created HERE - a cutting edge
1800 capacity space to host incredible live concerts, club nights, comedy, arts and culture; alongside high profile
events, launches, fashion shows and film screenings.
Just round the corner on the infamous Denmark Street where the Sex Pistols lived, the Rolling Stones recorded and
David Bowie started his first band, sits The Lower Third - a neighbourhood bar and fiercely independent grass roots
music venue championing emerging talent and the unbridled spirit of Rock & Roll; with a cafe, world class cocktail bar
and 250 capacity basement club.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Audio Manager to join us as we build on our current team and technical offerings
across all our events and productions.
About the job;
Our production department looks after a huge variety of events and productions and we have an opportunity for
someone to join the team to oversee and run the audio department. The primary responsibility of the Audio
Manager is to provide experienced leadership in planning and delivery of a diverse variety of shows and productions,
as well as keeping the department, its staff and equipment functioning to a high standard.
Reporting to the Head of Production, key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
Reports to HoP, working alongside PMs and other departmental managers
Working with other team leaders to schedule the Audio team
Co-ordinates house equipment across all three venues
Manages the booking and organisation of additional sub-hired kit
Works with the PMs to create a budget for each event
Operates shows within their allocated hours or as necessary
Attends production meetings as necessary
Maintains equipment and stores
Prepares equipment for shows in advance
Manages freelancers and other staff bought in for the audio team
Supports HoP with running of all venues
Across all our venues we strive to offer an excellent environment for all that come through the doors, whether they
are a client, an artist, a member of crew or public audience. This role will require you to create a welcoming, efficient
and technically excellent environment.Why you?
Above all else, you need to be enthusiastic and hard working.
The job will generally be 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday. Due to the nature of live events, these hours will
be flexible depending on the needs of the venues
Experience of Digico consoles and d&b equipment is essential
An ability to work with visiting teams across a variety of genres and backgrounds is necessary
Being adaptable and pro-active with clients in a real time environment
Being an integral part of the Production Team is key, showing strong leadership and guidance
Able to be highly organised, resourceful and calm under pressure
Being resourceful and innovative in problem solving
Driven to develop clients ideas and goals
Work to develop the Production Team, its offerings and those of the venues
